Nissan Repair: 1999 Quest V6 electrical problem, digit temperatures, positive cable

Question
When the heat or the air-conditioning is on in my '99 Quest the radio and the front wipers stop working.  Also, my radio has lost it's backlight and only 2 of the control buttons on it work now.  Do you have an idea as to what may be causing this?  Also, I live in single digit temperatures in the winter and as I exited my van this past winter I received a shock when I close the door.  Thank you.

You have a short and it is probably the radio that needs to be replaced.  Second, the airconditioner relay is probably robbing power from the other accessories.  I would have the relay box looked into as well as the power distribution block.  This is where all the positive wires connect up at the positive cable.
