Nissan Repair: brake light, 2007 nissan altima, nissan altima

I have a 2007 nissan altima, 55000 miles. Just recently my red brake light
on my LED dash panel has begun blinking while I drive. It would come one
for about 5 seconds and then go off. Moments later, it would repeat. What
does this mean?

Hi Oyaje -

I would check the brake fluid level. This light comes on for a few reasons:

1. Hand brake applied
2. Loss of pressure in the brake system
3. Low brake pads (some models)
4. Low brake fluid

#4 would be the most likely.
