Nissan Repair: Turn Signal Bulb Replacement, windshield washer fluid, nissan quest
QuestionCalvin -- You just answered my question. Feeling pretty stupid that I didn't tell you it was a 2001 Nissan Quest. Anyway...the bulb access looks pretty encumbered. Wondering if there is an easy way to access the bulb replacement by removing the headlight glass front, or do I remove the windshield washer fluid reservoir, etc., inside the engine compartment. Even if I do remove the reservoir, it appears that a section of the inside of the right front fender will block access to the wiring harness to the turn signal. So I'm suspicious that I'm missing the obvious. I don't want to tear more apart than I have to for replacement of a turn signal. Thanks!
Jim
AnswerHi Jim -
Everything is done from the back (engine side) of the unit. I do think that once the reservoir is out of the way, you can access the T/S socket and remove it to replace the bulb. Yo9u just need enough clearance to turn it counter clockwise about 1/4 turn.
Hope this helps -
