i read in one of your other reviews about a lifter knock in the heads of VE30DE ENGINE my 92 has the same engine and dose the same thing but i have noticed it only dose it when the oil needs to be changed i use rotella 15w40 in mine but what my question is do you know of any places where i can get parts for the ve30de 1992 se at a decent price i mean finding parts for this engine is like finding a needle in a hay stack and when you do find them the prices are outrageous when i needed axels none of the auto parts stores could get them for the five speed transmission i had to get them thru the dealership for $1200 per side just for the axels not including the install

I would use courtesyparts.com for a source for parts.  5W30 is what you should be using for oil since the rotella is thicker and will cause valve noise.  Another good source is rockauto.com for parts on-line.  Anyway, if you need more please email me.
