Nissan Repair: crank sensor, crank sensor, nissan quest

i have a 2001 nissan quest it was runing fine and just cut off the code is crank sensor and camshaft sensor the nissan dealer told me they are the same and only list a crank sensor are they right and if so where is the crank sensor at

Hi Keith -

The crank sensor is located along the bell housing of the transmission, at the joint where the engine meets the transmission. There should be a couple wires attached to it, and mounted with 2 small bolts. The device is not that large, maybe a couple inches long.
