Hi, I drive a 2002 Nissan altima, and the airbag light just started flashing. This is the first time it has done this, what could the problem be?

Hi Sean -

Looks like you have a fault code that is being activated by the computer. There is a airbag control module, however I don't think that is the problem, rarely goes out. Besides, it is big bucks.

The best way to see what this is is to place it on a diagnostic reader. That will display the code.

Sometimes the light will go away, but the trouble code will always be stored.
