Nissan Repair: starter, solenoid, car make and model

to relpace the starter how do i know which cable goes where on the solenoid from the battery and conecting solenoid to motor

There are 2 wires that go to the starter, on is quite large and the other is the smaller solenoid wire. There should be no problem with crossing these wires, however, I did not get your car make and model and year info from you - do you have that?
