Nissan Repair: 98 nissan sentra shift problem, nissan sentra, shift problem

I was in a wreck mess up front right tire got fix but now when I try to drive it wont engage the gears could you tell me what could be problem.

The shifter is probably stuck from the wreck.  Get the car on a lift and check the linkage and free it.  If the engine moved the linkage might even be bent.  Follow the shifter from the bottom to the transmission and you will see what I am talking about.
