Nissan Repair: 89 nissan D21 Z24 engine, nissan d21, fuel pump relay

Quick acceleration caused hard jerking but if driven slowly ran fine. However, engine eventually just died as if out of gas and will turn over but will no longer start.

Check the fuel pressure to see if you have pressure when the key is on.  If not replace the fuel pump relay or fuel pump depending on which is defective.  If you have pressure check the distributor for oil on the optics.  Email me with what you find.
