Nissan Repair: 2004 Maxima SL, mass airflow sensor, autozone

While in motion my car is making quick jerking motions or either cutting off.  I do not loose complete power when it cutts off but I do have to put in park and restart. Why could this be happening?

I would take the car to Autozone or Checker and get the electrical system checked for free.  Sounds like the battery might be going out.  I had the same symptoms on my 350Z when the battery was starting to go out.  Other causes would be the mass airflow sensor or a fuel pump or relay to the pump.  Check the electrical system first and email me back if you need more.
