put a engine in 1986 nissan pickup put starter in wont contact fly wheel what is wrong please help.

Japanese car manufacturers change things on the production line all the time.  I would unbolt the engine and use your original flywheel and it should work.  Otherwise, you will need to use the transmission and bellhousing out of the doner truck.
