QuestionMy dashboard instruments gone crazy
1. Tachometer hovering around 1000 RPM once the car is started.
2.Speedometer non functional
3.Fuel gauge showing full indication at all times
4.Temperature gauge showing High temperature once car is started.
This problem started and it sometimes work normal, all lights on dashboard working, even when the fuel goes low. any suggestions, i think its a ground fault causing it. please advice.

The lights are on a seperate circuit. The dash gauges have a transformer that steps down the 12 volts to something like 9 volts. My bet is the transformer is going out. The solution is to get that part replaced by a speedometer shop or get another one from a wrecking yard.
