Nissan Repair: 2001 nissan sentra blinking check engine light, nissan sentra, check engine soon light

My check engine light has been on for about 6 months now, i had it checked during a routing maintenance and the mechanic said no biggie. However, just the other day when i went to start it started idling funny and the check engine soon light started blinking. what might be causing this?

First of all, try resetting the light by removing the fuse or disconnecting the battery for at least 30 seconds. Then see if the light returns. If it does, then you must find out what code it is, and then go from there. There are many, many sensors that could cause the check engine light to go on -
