what type of refrigirant should I use on a 94 nissan largo

A Largo is not a United States Specification car and I do not know if the vehicle uses R-12 or R-134.  I would assume since it is newer than a 1993 it would use R-134.  But, that is what they use in the United States.  Now, if the fittings are the new press on kind then it is R-134 for sure.  And, if they screw on as in years past it would be R-12.
