i have a 1999 infiniti i30 and am having trouble finding where the fuel filter is located.

Hi Bopsie -

Usually there are 2 filters. One of them should be along the underside of the vehicle near the fuel tank towards the rear of the car. Just follow the fuel line from the tank and you will see it.

The other filter is in the tank, attached to the fuel pump. This is more like a screen, as it is designed to catch larger particles so it does not get caught in the impellers of the pump.
