ANSWER: Hi Pat -

The suction cups are designed to cushion the window and fit on the regulator. Did you replace your rear window? I am sorry, you did not say, only that you removed the panel.

Hi Pat -

I don't know if I am able to get you a diagram, however I will try. I will need the make, model, and year of your Nissan, and if you could, give me a couple days to get it. Also, whether this is pwoer windows or manual.

You see, I am retired as a mechanic, and I only do consulting work and a few side jobs here and there. I will have to pull some strings to get my hands on a diagram.

Anyway, the regulator is what carries your window up and down, looks like a big scissors. The window usually is attached to the top track, and somewhere along that is where the cups should go.
