Nissan Repair: lifter, cam follower, nissan maxima

1993 Nissan Maxima, I have sticky lifter. any ideas on how to free it up??

A cam follower and dampner sticking is evidenced by the noise.  If the oil is crusty you could use motor flush followed by Mobil 1 5W30 and see if that unsticks it.  If not, you will end up removing the valve cover and the cam follower to replace it.
