How do I remove and replace daytime running lamp bulb on a Nissan xterra 2002 6cy?

The lights are accessed from the inside of the truck.  Under the hood is where the connector resides and it is just a matter of unplugging the old one and installing the new one.  Now, there is a daytime running lamp relay that could be defective if both are not working...
