Nissan Repair: 97 Max Auto Transmission Stumbles, max auto, auto transmission

Auto transmission stumbles when up shifting 2d to 3d and 3d to 4th most of the time.  There is also a vibration with the stumbling as it is upshifting. Present mileage is 114,000 and the transmission fluid has never been changed. No other problems.

I would say to change the transmission fluid first and hope for the best.  It sounds like the valve body is sticking and a fluid change could do the trick.  But, with the years and miles you could be looking at a rebuild in the not too distant future.
