You should not have to reset the light if you have enough air pressure in the tires.  If the tires have been changed and the tire pressure sensors were not put on the new wheels the low tire pressure light will be on.  If the tires have been changed and the sensors were damaged that would make the light come on too.  If you do not care and you have changed the wheels and not moved the sensors to the new wheels the dealer can turn off the low tire function with the Consult III scan tool.
