Nissan Repair: aceleration problems, car jumps, sentra

its a 2004 sentra 1.8 everytime i go to accelerate the car jumps what could cause this to happen.

When you say it jumps does that mean it hesitates and then takes off?  If so, I would be looking at making sure the fuel is of good quality and that the spark plugs are good.  Let me know if the car is an automatic or manual and email me back.
