Nissan Repair: 97 Nissan, slippage, alarm system
QuestionWithin the last year Ive replaced the Battery and Alternator twice. Car just dies while I am driving Battery light, and others turn on on the dashboard. Also rest of the lights go really dim and windows/wipers move really slow. Could it be something Electrical? I know it used to have an alarm system that was probably not removed properly.
Answerif your battery and alternator are in perfect *TESTED* condition, i would have your belts checked for tension, or possibly slippage. this is all i can think of for now. i highly doubt that your alarm is the problem. even if it were to be in a constant "on" situation, your alternator would always charge up the difference. good luck with the belts and let me know how this turns out for you.
