Nissan Repair: P0110 code on Nissan Altima 2000, nissan altima, airbox

My mechanic does not deal in nissans on a regular basis so I asked him about this code and he doesnt know how to fix it.  I was wondering if its easy enough to do on my own w/ a few good men .. or if i should take into a mechanic.  Also wondering if you could give us some directions on how to fix it if you know ?  Thanks :)

The code shows to the the air intake temperature sensor.  Look between the airbox and the throttle body and there is a sensor that detects the air entering the intake.  It is probably unplugged or the sensor is damaged.  Have the mechanic check and let me know how things go.
