Nissan Repair: 2002 nissan sentra cylinder misfire, nissan sentra, cylinder misfire
QuestionI've asked this question before & I accidently deleted the answer before I took action on it(sorry). I hooked up a code reader to my car, the 1st time it said cylinder misfire #2. We changed all the spark plugs, every thing was fine for about a 1,000 miles. Hook up again code reader says cylindear misfire #3. Checked the spark plugs again (one was bad) changed them again. We put in new spark plugs, (all this time my engine light keeps coming). I belive you said something about Nissan having a problem with the coil wire? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
AnswerPaula,
There was a problem with Nissan coils a while back. I would be checking the coil for a defect. Go to Autozone or Checker and get the codes read again and see if you are not getting a multiple-cylinder misfire and not just one at a time. If it were me I would change the plugs, wires and coil to baseline the problem. Clear the code and see how things go.
