Nissan Repair: cooling and heating, radiator cap, thermostat
Questioni have an 87 pathfinder - It is slow to heat up when started and takes a long time to heta the cab and defrost the windows - It has AC - The thermostat has been replaced - Once it finally gets to temperature everything is fine -
AnswerMike,
You have to have a defective thermostat in your Pathfinder. If it does not overheat and it takes a long time to get to temerature you will need to replace the thermostat. Buy a Nissan thermostat and get a new radiator cap too. Go to the dealer for the parts or if you can wait checkout courtesynissan.com to save money.
