Nissan Repair: nissian repair, optical pickup, disturber

I have a 1989 Nissan d-21 with a z24 motor that is back firing through the carburetor and is losing power when doing this i have replaced the disturber cap and rotor button and plugs and plugwires i don't know what else to do.

Check the distributor for oil on the optics since you say it is backfiring through the carb.  If the optical pickup in the distributor is contaminated a rebuilt distributor will be the solution.  Take the cap, rotor, rotor post and cover off and check the optical shutter wheel for the presence of oil.  This would screw up the timing and make it pop through the carburetor.  Email me back if you need more.
