Nissan Repair: brake and battery warning lights, nissan maxima, warning lights
Question1998 nissan maxima, just had new alternator and battery installed. now, brake and battery warning lights flashing at random? did i get a bad alternator? or is this just a short somewhere?
AnswerBrett,
Yes, the alternator could be defective or the wiring on the alternator could be loose. Check out the wiring for correct connection and that they are tight. Also, check the fuse link to the alternator for corrosion. This one is at the positive battery cable where it connects to the battery.
