Nissan Repair: Disable 200sx Immobaliser, door switches, ebay

Hi,

I have a N reg 200sx. Is it possible to disable  the Immobilizer/Alarm system? (so that I do not have to use the key fob which is becoming unreliable).

You could wire around it.  But, the key lock on the drivers door should still turn it off.  If it goes off by itself then one of the door switches or trunk switch is defective.  I would buy a new remote from ebay and program it.  Wiring around the alarm system is a pain unless you like doing electrical.
