Nissan Repair: 1986 300zx engine misfires when accelarated, 300zx engine, oil seal

when you first start engine will idle ok, then idel will start  dropping. give it gas it stumbles, misfires,let off gas idles fine,then starts to drop off again. have checked fuel filter,pressure ok. help

Check to make sure the plugs, wires, cap and rotor are good.  It sounds like ignition.  If all of these are recently new check for oil on the optics of the distributor.  Under the rotor is a cover and under that is the optical trigger and shutter wheel.  If the internal oil seal fails it will cause what you describe.
