I have a nissan pulsar q 1990 model and there is a rattling sound near the alternator when i accelerate.

It is probably the idler pulley that keeps tension on the belt.  If that is not it loosen the belt and spin the alternator and see if there is a grinding noise when you spin the pulley.  If the alternator makes a grinding noise then you know the bearings or the brushes are gone.
