i got quoted a price on my 97 nissan hardbody pickup transmission and i was wondering what a good price is or this part because I think im being overcharged

Depending on what is wrong with the cost can go from $1000 up to around $1500.  That is, it all depends on what is damaged inside or if the case has to be replaced due to internal damage.  So, send me the parts list and I can tell you if you are getting a good deal.
