Nissan Repair: 95 Quest Time Control Module, door switches, dash lights

Regarding the ‘95 Quest (06/21/06) with the interior lights that won’t shut off and the warning chimes and dash lights not working.  I changed all the door switches and the problem remains.  I want to move on to the TIME CONTROL MODULE but I don’t know what it looks like or where it’s located.  Could you describe it and tell me where to find it? Also, the replacement module is over $110.  Can it be tested before I replace it?
I changed the dimmer switch to correct the problem with the dash lights.  No luck.  What should I try next?  Thanks so much for your time, patience and expertise!!

You could go with a wrecking yard unit to save money and that way you would know what you are looking for.  The last one I replaced was black with part of it being green.  It is about 3 inches by 5 inches by 1 inch and is under the dash on the drivers side.
