Nissan Repair: 87 Nissan No spark, nissan maxima, heavy rain

We just bought a 87 Nissan Maxima (standard) and the previous owners took great care of it.  The car was running great.  The car was parked for 3 to 4 months in the heavy rain and afterwards would not start Ive chacked the distributer  and spark plugs everything looks good .  We replaced the Emc and let the car run for about a half an hour.  The next day we tried to start it and there was nothing...When I looked The new emc had gathered some condensation. We are reluctant to purchace a new emc in fear that it too will damage.  What would be your suggestion...Is the Emc the problem?

You need another ECU.  But, first, dry the car out with a space heater like you would use in the office.  Get something that is fireproof and set it on the floor and get the moisture out and then it should be fine.  I have had this happen when I lived in England.
