Nissan Repair: intakeports, throttle position sensor, mr gasket

i think i want to try and clean my intake manifold and ports myself is there any easy way? or is there a manual that would walk me through it. also is there any thing special i should use to clean the intake it self or the ports

If you want to clean the engine intake ports on the engine you can use Berrymans B12 carburetor cleaner.  Stay away from the throttle position sensor since the cleaner will eat it.  If you are cleaning the intake off the car a Mr. Gasket scraper and gasket removal spray work great.  If you are doing this due to oil build up on the inside be sure to replace the PCV too.
