HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE SPEDO SENSOR PLUG FROM THE TRANSMISSION

THE WIRES WERE CHEWED UP BY RODENTS

I OWN A 2005 NISSIAN SENTRA 1.8

The plug has a bolt that holds it in.  Once you remove it just twist and remove the sensor.  If it were me I would go to a wrecking yard and get one along with about a foot of the harness and solder the wires back at the same length as they used to be.
