Nissan Repair: 2002 Nissian Sentra GXE IDLEING, car idles, nissian

ON FRIDAY MORNING 2/17 WHEN I WAS DRIVING TO WORK MY CAR I was stopped at a stop light and my car started to idle crazy. It jumped from 0 to 2 rmps and stayed constant at 2. My first thought was that it might need an oil change since I have not had one in awile so I pulled it around to the service center at work to get that done. But it was no help.

When I first started the car it idles really fast without the car out of park, then when I put the car in drive it drops down. As I am driving it feels really hard when it shifts into gears. Any ideas what i could be?

I assume it is an automatic?  If it is and the car shifts hard I would have the fluid changed before I did anything else.  Next, I would turn up the engine.  New plugs and an air filter are a good start.  Now that you have baselined the system I would be looking at the coils if the car idles strange and it lugs when driving.  Email me back and let me know how it goes.
