Nissan Repair: Transmission Problems, sentra model, metal shavings
QuestionHi!Von Sudderth.
I have a Nissan car sentra model 1992. The problem with the car is the transmission, its function is automatica. The speed changes do not respond speed 1.2, work well, but the Reversa enters with problems, the problem is the D that does not work. Not if it is adjustment problem wing gearshift or is internal of the transmission.
Thanks for help!
AnswerJorge,
It sounds like the internals of the transmission are defective. The valve body seems to be clogged and not shifting from three to four. I would have the transmission diagnosed at a shop and examine the fluid for burnt smell and metal shavings.
