Nissan Repair: Stanza Brake lights, 1987 nissan stanza, nissan stanza

Hello, I have a 1987 Nissan Stanza Sedan,
the problem I am having is I have no brake lights (checked Bulbs, Fuses),  I am not sure what to check next, any input you might have would be great.   Thx    ps   also checked brake pedel switch  it is good.

Is there voltage at the pedal switch?  If so you have an open between the switch and the brake lights.  I have seen where the ground in the trunk gets broken and that takes the lights out.  Are the turn signals working in the back?  If no replace the headlight switch and you should be good to go.
