Nissan Repair: 1993 N14 manual Nissan sedan clutch replacement, clutch replacement, bell housing

1993 Nissan N14 manual transmission clutch replacement.  I have removed the axle on the gear box side, all the bolts between the bell housing and the block and the starter motor but the bell housing won't release from the engine block?  What is holding it in?

Check the bottom of the engine to see that the brace between the engine and the transmission has been removed.  There is a brace that helps hold the two together.  That would be my guess.  Also, check to make sure all related engine mounts have been removed so you can get the transmission a part.
