Nissan Repair: My transmission, castrol motor oil, engine bearings

I have a '96 maxima. I ran over some debris and lots of green stuff is leaking. I poured 3 cups of salt into the oil pan to keep it happy. Why is there smoke?

Green stuff is antifreeze unless you are just changed your oil and you are using Castrol motor oil.  Three cups of salt in your oil would destroy your engine bearings and rings.  So, I do not understand the comment about the three cups of salt?  If you are serious I would think you have a hose that is cut or damaged or you have a hole in the radiator.  Transmission fluid is dark red so I do not think you have a transmission leak.
