Nissan Repair: clunk, nissan 300zx, differential carrier

I have a 1984 nissan 300zx that i bought for a project vehicle. I went and  I put a whole new suspension on it but it still was making a sound in the back. someone had told me it was the rear end mount bushing but when I went to the part store they never heared of them and neither did the nissan dealership. please help I really love this car and i want to figure it out.Thanks.

What you need is the differential carrier bushings.  Tell them this and they should understand.  If you want to get something that will last I would go for poly bushings as they will last longer and give a firmer ride.  Herb Adams is one good source.  And Stillen.com
