Nissan Repair: Changing front & back struts, correct tools, struts

what are the problems I will have in changing the front and back shocks ( struts ) the repair shops are telling me that it will take 10 hours to change. this is on a 1990 nissan axess 2 wheel drive van.

If the shop is backed up yes,

are you doing this yourself?

If so I would let the shop do it.  Or make sure you have the correct tools and a book before you dig into it.

otherwise, with a shop doing it, it all depends on the shops  business (how busy they are)
