Nissan Repair: ADJUSTING BELT, datsun nissan, nissan z

Hi, I have a 1982 Datsun / Nissan, Z engine
4 W/DRIVE, and my power steering belt is slipping. Do you know how to make an adjustment to this.  I have tried but had no luck

Ken,

Check to see if you have any fluid on the belt.

If not, you should have a pully adjustment to adjust.  I cannot give you the exact location, for I'm not sure of where it is.

If it does have a pully adjust, turn the nut to tighten it and it should adjust.

If it does have FLUID on the belt, you will have to replace the belt itself.
