Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 89 Olds.cutlass ciera, olds cutlass ciera, coil windings

I'd like to check the coil packs on this 3.3L V6 but I can't seem to find the resistance ranges for primary and secondary voltages. Can you tell me what they are? Also how would I check to see if there is voltage getting to the ignition module?

Hello John,
Find the connector to the control module under the coils, and find the pink/black wire.
It should be hot with the ignition switch in run, and supplies power to each of the coils.
The control module then completes the circuit to ground.

I don't know what the ohm readings of the primary and secondary coil windings are, but with a good meter, check all three coils, and they should be pretty much the same.
