Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 93 Buick Lesabre hesitation, buick lesabre, caskets

My 93 Buick hesitates, not all time, on highway at around 55 mph. I notice that radiator leaked very little on left side of engine. A mechanic said he would gave to change all the caskets and replace some parts. Cost around 1,500. Vehicle only has 60,000 miles. He said it was a common problem.

if you have a 3.8 this is a common problem it is the intake gasket it is a high price he wants .
my shop i do it for 500 . so i would shop around.
for a better price.
and what parts have to be changed?
