Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1991 Olds Silohoutte Van, gas filter, gas station

Question
Recently my van died, I stoopped put it in gear and restarted it.  I went a few feet and it started back firing and died again.  I restarted it with the same results.  I had plenty of gas, I just put in $20.  It will now start and idle but I'm afraid to drive it and break down.  What could this be?

you might have gotton bad gas u can try changeing the gas filter. this might do the trick . or it could be a crank senser . First i would call this gas station and ask them if water was in thire gas . May be they will be honest with u i hope so .
