Plymouth Repair: 1997 Plymouth Breeze Oil Leakage & sensor, plymouth breeze, 1997 plymouth breeze
QuestionI own a 1997 Plymouth Breeze. 2.0l Engine Auto transmission. Just turned 100K miles. It has a small oil leak on the back of the engine. I can't seem to find the origin. It is above the oil filter and oil pressure sensor. What should I be looking for? Also the oil light comes on periodically but when I check the level it is OK. Could the sensor be going bad or is it possibly something worse? Also about a year ago I had an oil seal go bad behind the timing belt that I had replaced. Could this have someting to do with the light now coming on?
Answerhello brian
check the valve cover in the rear of motor and yue a mirror this works check the botton of the head to see it it is leaking from the rear head if yes bad head gasket . and as far as the oil light a oil sender is a cheap fix and if that does nort work then it is a oil pump pete
