Pontiac Repair: Maplight replacement

Hi.  Have a 2003 Pontiac grand am. Map lights are In the rearview mirror and don't work  Just bought the car.  Figured the bulbs were burned but can't get them out  Any secrets?

Hi david:

No secrets once you remove the lenses on the lamps you should be able to get the bulbs out. pretty straight forward repair. I can't rember the last time I did that but a small flat blade screw driver should aid it getting the lenses off the mirror.
