Pontiac Repair: 02 grand prix wipers, grand am wiper

I used to own a 2002 Grand Am. LOVED the car but got wreck blah blah blah. anyway, I got a Grand prix now and I realize now that everything is different! My windshield wipers work but I shut them off and they go in the up position and stay there in my way its very annoying.

well either the park arm on the wiper motro is strilled/bent from snow or ise or the motor it's self is bad. There is a part called a park switch in the motor and more then likely that switch in the motor is bad. If that is the case it will need a new motor assembly. good luck :-}
