Pontiac Repair: sunbird waterpump, google search, waterpump

1994 sunbird convertable 2.0L I am looking for the waterpump on the car to replace it.  is it realy behind the ohv cam pully and if I take it off how would a easy way to make sure it is still timed when I go back with it.  Thank you

this is not a job for the do it your selfer. If you screw the timing up it will not run right. Ther is a special timing procedure for that engine for both the belt tebsion and to the timing marks. I suggest before you attempt to do this try a google search to get all the info you can before you do the job. Ther are way toom many steps to do the job that I can list on here. If your an advanced do it your selfer then give it a try. You will have to devote most of an afternoon to doing the job too. good luck :)
